The Starlite Band: Past Performances
It was a music lover's hot August Friday night at air-conditioned Ayhan's Lobster and Fish House. Our new hot summer songs had everyone feeling COOL...the prix fixe menu was superb! Our acoustic sound was the perfect catalyst for a relaxed, hot summer night in Port Washington.
More recently, we played there 11/24 and 12/8/23. Love the December holiday tunes!
Saturday, September 9, 2023- 3:30-7 :30 PM- Lots of fun with The Starlite Band with guest drummer Andy Shaffer at the annual MBSC Clambake. Each ticket included beer, soda, all you can eat fish/clams and crab legs. With a surprise visit by line dancing friend and instructor Val Wolf, the place was hopping, literally. Check out this club for avid fishermen overlooking beautiful Manhasset Bay.

All North Shore residents and veterans of the Long Island, NY music scene, we started our cover band trio TheStarliteBand.com in late 2022 with the goal of playing classic rock and acoustic music that we all love, optimized for smaller venues. As a cover band trio, we draw inspiration from a wide range of musical genres, including rock, pop, blues, folk, TV themes and seasonally appropriate songs. We constantly update our song list and draw from the best in top 40 and familiar album cuts from the 1960's to today. If it's catchy, TheStarliteBand will play it.

Perry grew up playing guitar at family parties and over time, picked up piano and keyboards. He is currently a member of several successful New York bands and loves playing all kinds of music, especially the variety of songs we perform in The Starlite Band. He is an accountant by trade.

Lisa has been drawn to music as long as she can remember. After years of choral singing, playing piano, guitar, harmonica and singing in bands, Lisa sings leads and harmonies in two successful cover bands on Long Island. She is a Douglas Elliman Real Estate agent when not singing.

Wait 'til you hear this guy play! Bill has been playing lead and rhythm guitar in bands since high school and his amazing solos are a testament to one's skills growing over time. He has truly come into his own with The Starlite Band as a tuneful lead singer and on harmonies. Bill is an engineer by trade.
